One of my PARENTS got some STICKY RESIDUE on my GRAPHICS TABLET THAT'S NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND I CAN'T GET IT OFFFFFFFFF D:<<
The only thing I could find on the internet on how to clean a tablet is rubbing alcohol on it...so I tried it a couple times, and it only SPREAD IT AROUND.
How to clean your tablet video: [link]
In the video that I watched on how to clean it also said that the top part is removable [she had the same brand as mine, but not the same model] and she bought a replacement through the manufacturer.... but mine is completely attached and nowhere on the manufacturer's website is there replacement parts other than the pen, pen nib, and mouse.
But she also said that the replacement for hers was like 15 or 20 dollars!!!!! D:<
I have the Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.
Does anyone have any information on how to get the sticky stuff off mah tablet???? I really need it for projects and stuff...I can't live without it .___.

I discovered this when I got an oil lamp, and accidentally spilled some oil all over it. I wiped it off to find that the residue from the price sticker came off as well. Henceforth, I've been using lamp oil to remove residues from hard surfaces when nothing else works. It has not failed me yet.
My only recommendation is that after trying this, really dry your tablet thoroughly afterwords, use a minimal amount of oil (smear with a cotton ball, q-tip, or cloth, or something along those lines, and avoid having puddles of any size) and only add more oil when need be, and keep away from all fire producing products.
Also, do not give up right away if it doesn't seem to work. Just keep rubbing at it, or let it sit a while, maybe use a teeny bit more oil, then try again.
Oh, and don't try this with any other type of oil. For whatever reason, lamp oil works while all other types I've tried do not.
That's my only solution, other than trying to carefully peel the residue off with a knife.
Hope this advice helps.
